Question 1

What is essential tremor?

Accepted Answer

Essential tremor is a common condition that causes a steady, rhythmic shaking, most often in the hands. My Tremor Tracker is a wellness tool, not a medical device, so it cannot diagnose tremor or any other condition. Only a healthcare professional can do that.

Question 2

Can I measure my tremor at home?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Hold your phone in your open palm and stay as still as you can for 30 seconds. The app reads your phone's built-in motion sensor, so no camera or extra equipment is needed, and you can repeat the test any time.

Question 3

Is my data private?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Everything stays on your phone: there is no account, nothing is uploaded, and no one else can see your readings. You can delete all your data at any time.
